Item details

This listing is for 2 ounces of hand dyed Merino/Wensleydale cross fleece.

This fleece comes from a beautiful white ewe.
The quality of her fiber is superb. Pristine, squeaky clean, and super soft and fine, with the incredible crimp of Merino, and the length and shine of Wensleydale. Average staple length is 6 inches!

Purple, magenta, charcoal, and black are an adventurous, punk rock combination- all hand dyed with professional grade dyes.

Since this sheep was coated, there is next to no VM in this fiber, but as with all locks and fleeces, a tiny amount of VM may remain, but will easily fall out during spinning.

Very gentle scouring ensures that the fiber has been de-greased, and that the beautifully crimped locks have remained intact.

This fiber is absolutely luscious, next-to-skin soft, and will be a wonderful component in your spinning, carded batts, felting, or crafting projects.

One of the nicest fleeces I've worked with in a very long time.

2 ounces.

Items will be shipped the day after payment clears via USPS Priority in the US, or First Class International everywhere else.

I love doing custom orders, so if you see something you like, but want another color, quantity, etc., just let me know!
I aim to please, and use the best quality materials.

Buyers with sensitivities to certain scents-please let me know. I process all of my yarn and handmade items using a special wool softener (that smells yummy), but I can use a different, unscented product if you are scent-sitive.

Also, CT residents are automatically billed 6% sales tax. Thanks for understanding!
