You are looking at a SET of Two (2) Antique Brass Doorknobs. This particular set of knobs only has One actual doorknob - the other end is more or less a small latch. That latch end would only be seen when opening the door, since nobody needed to open a closet from the inside. This particular latch is chrome plated brass, while the actual knob is just brass. It is a fairly unique find, and personally, I love the small latches. I was delighted when I found this latch on a small closet door being thrown out in front of a house undergoing renovations.
The diameter of the brass doorknob is approximately 1 3/4", and it is about 1 1/2" tall. The circular backplate for the chrome latch has a diameter of 2", and is less than 1/4" thick. The chrome latch itself is approximately 1 1/2" long and sticks 1" out from the backplate when assembled.
