Item details

[Rusty Sunset] is blues and purples overlaid with rusty orange and sprinkled with speckles. It’s dyed on my Triple Twist base—a generous 490 yards of luscious fingering-weight 100% merino superwash wool.

NOTE: There are six of these available. I have included photos in the listing of all skeins available. If you order more than one skein, I will ensure to the best of my ability that you are sent multiple from the same batch!

This listing is for ONE skein of yarn. You will receive one of the actual skeins pictured in the listing.

These skeins are ready-to-ship, dyed in a batch of three. The process of hand-dyeing produces products that are TRULY one-of-a-kind. Even within a single batch, variations in pattern, frequency, and intensity of color will exist between skeins. Each skein is its own unique work of art! This is why we love hand-dyed yarn; it also means I can’t guarantee all skeins will knit up the same. If using more than one skein for a project, I recommend alternating them every couple rows for a more blended look.

All my yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes, then washed with Soak Wash.

My yarns are dyed in a cat-friendly home. She is lazy and uninterested and doesn’t come near the yarn; however, those with very severe allergies should be aware she exists.

For care, I recommend submerging in cool or room temperature water and soaking until saturated; gently press out excess water and lay out to air dry. Some dyes (especially vivid pinks) may bleed a bit, even if fully set. If this happens, submerge in a sink of cool water; repeat with fresh water until water runs clear.
