Using my pattern (available in another listing), 1/3 yard makes one 16" doll. Save on shipping by combining orders. I can fit about 3 yards of fabric in one padded flat rate envelope. You will need to request total in order to receive an accurate shipping amount.
Be sure to check out my other listings for more patterns and items for your Cabbage Patch Kids!*
**Note: Screens all display slightly different from actual fabric. Fabric also looks different laying out flat rather than made into a doll. I would say they look quite a bit lighter once made into a doll. I will try my best to describe each color:
Sand: Pink tones, very light. Best for using as a fair complexion.
Beige: Neutral tones, very light. Best for using as a fair complexion.
Tan: Yellow tones, slightly darker than beige. Best for using as a fair complexion.
Camel: Orange tones, dark. Best for using as a dark complexion.
Peach: Peach tones, dark, but lighter than camel. Best for using as a medium complexion. Gives a nice rich "sunkissed" look.
Apricot: Peach tones, lighter than Peach. Best for using as a medium complexion.
Buff: Yellow tones. Best for using as a medium complexion.
A little history about this fabric. You cannot use just ordinary knit fabric for Cabbage Patch Kid type dolls. Trust me, I’ve tried. You will not get the same look. The original Cabbage Patch Kids were made with Windsor Comfort fabric. It was originally called Southern Comfort but had to be changed due to copyright laws and the Southern Comfort brand of beverages. The factory was called Atlanta Fabrics, based in Atlanta, Georgia. In the 80’s when the craze began, billions of yards of fabric went out from this factory. Unfortunately, the factory has closed. I happened to get the very last of the Windsor Comfort in the skintones. Be sure to check my listing for My Anna Doll pattern, a soft-sculpture doll similar to Cabbage Patch Kids.
***Dolls, clothes, and pattern not included. You are purchasing 1/3 yard of Windsor Comfort Fabric.***
I love the feel of this fabric plus it sews without any effort. It's perfect for stuffing because you can shape it like you want.
