For the Jewelry or crafts maker, for sale are 8 lovely vintage Kirks Folly retired two-hole square & rectangle beads that used to be a beautiful stretch bracelet.
The metal is brasstone in color.
To me, the large faceted oval shaped sparkly rhinestones on the large size beads have a lovely translucent purplish color. You can see through them to the fancy metal design on the back.
Around the large purple stone on the large beads are small sparkling red, yellow and purple colored rhinestones. Sometimes in the light there are other colors.
The smaller beads have a marquis/navette shaped stone with solid light and darker purple or red tiny beads around it.
The back of the brasstone metal beads have a cut-out design that's quite pretty.
Although these beads have been stored for a long time they have still retained much of their natural beauty and lustre.
One large square metal bead has the Kirks Folly tag on the back but the other beads do not have the tag.
The large beads measure approximately 7/8” long x 1" wide and the small beads measure approximately 7/8” long x 6/8” wide.
If you look closely you may be able to see some tiny specks and marks on the rhinestones but this is to be expected because these are older retired Kirks Folly bracelet beads.
There might be a bead or two that still has a tiny bit of the stretch material inside. I pulled out what I could see showing but I didn't open the backs of the beads to see if there's any more inside. I’ll leave that up to their new owner.
Please look at all photos to get a good idea what the beads look like.
Many of my Kirks Folly pieces are New from Old Stock. I look everything over carefully but sometimes I may miss something. Any flaws I see are mentioned.
I checked all of these beads with my jeweler’s loupe and there are no missing rhinestones or beads.
Each bead will be individually packaged in a clear plastic zip lock baggie for added protection and will be shipped to you in a pretty gold foil gift box.
**The USPS has recently raised the cost of their online postage. I do not ask for additional money for any supplies I may use (bubble wrap, gift boxes, or bubble mailers), I simply print the label according to the weight of the item inside the brown bubble mailer and print the label according to what the USPS says the item costs to ship.
**I usually print your shipping label and mail your package the day payment is made or the following day, depending upon the time payment is received.
**I ship USPS First Class Mail and ship only to US cities.
**I'm always happy to combine shipping.
**If you have any questions please ask before making your purchase.
