Item details

Handpicked Quartz pebbles from Stonehaven on the East Coast of Scotland. Just south of the Highland Boundary Fault. The rocks in this area are Sliurian in age, and probably around 420 million years old. Most of the rock in the area is sandstone, and the quartz occurs in veins that is eroded by the sea into pebbles. The red imperfections in some pebbles are iron that has been incorporated into the quartz vein.

You will receive 20 pebbles, which is more than in the photographs.

The field of view in the photos is around 15cm across. Pebbles range from 1 to 5 cm diameter

These are photographed slightly damp to show them at their best. You could spray them with gloss lacquer to preserve this look.

Apparently "Clear Quartz is known as the "master healer" and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals. It absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy. Clear Quartz draws off negative energy of all kinds, neutralising background radiation, including electromagnetic smog or petrochemical emanations.". Personallly, I'm a professional Geologist and wouldn't be able to comment on their healing properties ;-)
