Hand forged Bushcraft and fishing knife with stacked Cairngrom antler, spalted Beech & Silver Birch handle.
The knife was hand forged from 0-1 tool steel. Once forging was completed, the blade went through a heat treating and tempering cycle to give a reliable but razor sharp edge. To complement the Brut de Forge aesthetic, the stacked handle was made from locally sourced Cairngrom antler, soft brown leather, spalted Beech & Silver Birch. This give a lovely natural colour pallet. Following Scandinavian bushcraft practices, the knife has a rat tail tang so that your grip never comes into contact with cold steel whilst working outdoors.
It is an ideal utility fishing and bird knife for all manner of hunting, camping (EDC) and kitchen tasks. It would also make a unique Chef's filleting knife. Perfect for the modern outdoors enthusiast.
