Item details

Bulk muslin ribbon in 1” width

This natural muslin ribbon would be lovely on a wedding gift, around wedding favors, to bind flowers or to decorate your venue. It can be fashioned into bows or used as shabby chic decoration wrapped around vintage books or old love letters. I also use it to make muslin roses.

Features:
• 10 yard increments
• 1” wide
• Washed, unpressed natural muslin
• Re-useable
• Bonus: a pretty blue flower pin!

This muslin ribbon is approximately 1” wide, although with the frayed edges it can be slightly wider or narrower. You will receive your chosen quantity in 10 yard pieces.

About SomethingBleue muslin ribbon & fabrics:
All muslin ribbon at SomethingBleue is handmade by me. The first step before making the ribbon or other muslin product is washing all fabric to pre-shrink it and give it a soft feel and slight crinkle. Then I dye the muslin using a low immersion dye method. This produces interesting and unique color distribution for each piece of ribbon. It is also an environment-friendly dyeing process. I add any stamped images before or after the dyeing process, depending on the effects desired. I then hand-tear and hand-fray each individual piece of ribbon. Lastly, I package the ribbon in a bulk ball, on a pretty paper bobbin or tied in a bundle of pre-cut pieces.
Greener ribbon for a greener planet
Muslin ribbon is environmentally friendly. Just launder when necessary; it will only get softer. Despite its delicate appearance, muslin ribbon is sturdier than other commercial ribbons and can be reused indefinitely.
