How to grow pavonia
Sow indoors, January-March, in pots or trays of seed compost. Cover thinly with fine compost and keep moist. Maintain a temperature of 20°C (68°F). Germination may be erratic, so thin (prick out) to individual pots as seedlings develop 2-4 leaves. Keep warm and moist. Gradually harden off and plant out from late May (avoid frosts), allowing 30cm (12”) between plants. Flowers: June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong the flowering season.
