Here is a handsome lot of 3 antique sterling silver thimbles. Two, the #10 and 11, are marked inside with the S in a Shield maker's mark of Simons Bros of Philadelphia, PA USA and Sterling Silver. (C: 1842-1905). The marks on the #11 are highly visible and the marks are the #10 are faintly visible with a strong loop. The #9 has no maker's mark that is visible to me nor a sterling mark but it does appear to be sterling. Two are out of round from use, but with no cracks. They do need some polishing up. What a great addition to any collection as they all have different patterned embellishments on their rims.
