I created this motif to try out some creative stitches. It measures 5.5” diameter and could potentially be used as anything from a project embellishment to component of a large freeform project. It has good texture. The center swirl is about a 1/2" tall. For this listing I am offering something special - both the pattern and the piece itself. Having the piece in front of you while working allows you to see all the tiny details. Its a great opportunity for someone just learning. Since I cannot offer a digital download and a physical object in the same listing I will do this - I will send a full-color printed copy of the pattern with the item and email a pdf copy of it to the email address on the paypal account used for payment within 2 (usually 1) business day. This will let you get a head start before the piece and printed pattern arrive.
This particular pattern is probably a bit beyond intermediate. It will require a solid grasp of basic stitches and either a familiarity with the more advanced stitches listed below or the ability to learn them. I have included hyperlinks to instructional videos made by others for the non-basic stitches.
