Item details

Vintage Rusty Miner's Pick Head. Rock mining tool. Prospecting implement.
NO handle, pick head only. Local barn find in NC.
I believe this is forged steel. No makers mark.
Overall length from end to end is approx. 14". See pictures with ruler for other measurements.

♦♦ CONDITION ♦♦
1. In rusty rustic worn vintage condition.
2. I did wash it to get loose dirt and rust off of it.

Priority/insured shipping based on a Regional A 2 lb box size and the buyer's zip code.
Since this is all that will fit in an A box, it can't be combined with other items especially fragile items. If other items are purchased and I can safely combine I will and I'll refund any shipping overages.

FAQs

Since all the items I sell are vintage most will have some flaws since they have been loved and used by previous owners. ♦ I disclose all the major flaws I see or repairs if any are done. I do NOT mention nor take a picture of every little scratch, scuff, stain or flaw on a vintage item, just the flaws that are most noticeable. If in doubt, I can send more pictures if needed of any item or any flaw mentioned that is not pictured. Since most of my items are estate/yard sale finds I can not guarantee their home was smoke and pet free. I do have dogs but they are not around items I list for sale.

Get Shipping Costs

1. Items are mailed within 1-3 business days. Items purchased on Friday will be mailed the following Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.

2. I use USPS for shipping, 1st class, Priority/insured, Media Mail and/or Parcel Select depending on the item.

3. Please be sure your mailing address is correct on your Paypal payment or Etsy payment since this is where your item will be mailed.

3. If your package gets returned to me due to a buyer having an insufficient or incorrect mailing address, I will refund the item cost only.
The item will be relisted again so the buyer can purchase with their correct mailing address.

4. Delivery times by USPS are NOT guaranteed and can at times take longer than estimated delivery date. Delays by USPS are out of my control.

Payments

Paypal or Etsy payments.
Your mailing address on your payment must be correct since this is where your order will be mailed. If incorrect I can "not" edit/change it nor can I mail to a different address than stated.

Returns & exchanges

♦ RETURNS:
1. If you are not happy with your purchase, please notify me within 5 business days of delivery. Item must be sent back within 10 days.
2. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
3. Original shipping charges are NOT refunded.
4. Refund is for purchase (item) price only.

In case of damage:
1. NOTE: if a item is broke during shipping, you will need to send me a picture of the broken item PLUS the damaged box since USPS will require photos of any damage.
2. I will need to be contacted through etsy within 5 days if your item happens to arrive broken so we can work to get a claim filed and the issue resolved to the satisfaction of both the buyer and I and your money refunded.
3. Do not throw away the box/packing materials should an item happen to arrive damaged, USPS may ask for proof of damage.
4. I can not refund for damaged items without pictures of the damage of the item and the box.

Lost items:
1. If an item is insured and is lost, an insurance claim can NOT be filed with USPS for approx. 21 days.
2. No refunds for lost items will be given until after I am able to file a claim.
3. I will file a lost item report after 10 business days in hopes that USPS will be able to locate your item.
4. I will keep your informed of any info I find out from USPS during this time.

CANCELLATIONS:
Must be requested within 12 hours from purchase and before a shipping label is printed and the package picked up by my mail carrier.

Additional policies

♦ All vintage items show some signs of wear which is normal. If you want an item that looks new, a lot of the items i sell are not for you.

Since a lot of my items are pre-owned, I can not guarantee their home was smoke/pet free.

♦ Please note: When possible I try to recycle a lot of my packing supplies, so sometimes I will reuse boxes that are clean and free from stains and odors, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, shredded paper, newspaper, plain paper, air pillows. I also use Priority boxes when possible.
