4 Victorian Fashion Magazines French La Mode Illustree, All Dated 1882

4 beautiful French fashion magazines with lots of unique monochrome engravings. Brilliant for art students, framing, decoupage and other craft work. The clothes in them are, in my opinion very typical of the mid Victorian era.

THESE ARE GENUINE OLD MAGAZINES NOT REPRODUCTIONS.

Each magazine contains 4 double sided pages, each one dates from 1882. Each one contains some small project ideas.

They are all different issues.

Some pages are shown open to give one an idea of their contents.

I have seen the fashion models cut out and put around a plain fabric covered cheap hat box which looks brilliant, perfect shabby chic.

The pages are 15.75 by 11.25 inches (approx)

As these are over 145 years old there is some foxing and yellowing of the pages as can be seen in the pictures. Please note, these have at some stage been bound so the edge on one side is tatty.

Any buyer will be sent the actual magazines NOT a digital download.
