Handturned nostepinne made of rare curly birch wood.

Nostepinne is an ancient tool for winding yarn.

This nostepinne is made of curly birch (also known as karelian birch) wood which has unique patterned look. This rare version of common birch grows only in some parts of Northern Europe, and is very hard to find.
This nostepinne is finished with homemade beeswax finishing.

Measures 24 cm (9,5 inches) in lenght. Diameter at the widest point is 3 cm (1,2 inches) and 1,4 cm (0,6 inches) at thinnest tip.
