Vintage C. A. Myers "Famous Lock Stitch Sewing Awl" "The Awl For All" In original box with instructions and accessories These were patented in 1903 and I'm guessing this one might be from the 1920's For sewing leather such as harness, shoes, saddles, handbags, carpets and more. The box states it can even be used to sew up wire cuts on horses and cattle. Not a use I would condone. The end of the handle is removable and holds two needles and the wrench. Obviously used very little if at all
