Item details
Sorry, we couldn't translate this to English.

A rounded pendant created by me with the raku technique and a unique land.
Unique prehistoric atmosphere, due to the use of the wilderness of Perigord, I have rammassee into the ground, and that during the cooking is adorned in beautiful warm and natural shades: Tan, peach, red brick, topped with a beautiful shiny glaze Crackle.
Back left raw, smoky black matte.

☼ Raku means "Happyness in random" ☼ is the name of this ceramic technique of enameling and build-up, developed in 16th century Japan.

-Diameter approximately 28 x 25 mm
-Thickness approximately 2 mm
-Hole diameter: 3 mm
-Weight: 3 grams
Pendant light and thin, handle gently during Assembly.

Check out the specifics of RAKU, making each unique piece created:

1 put I shape my items through with the white grog clay (stoneware)
2 items dry
3 I cooked at high temperature in a suitable kiln in my workshop
4 terracotta is ready to be glazed
5 covers the object with a transparent glaze (frit)
6 item goes into a (flame projected on the inside) gas kiln for firing glazes.
7 A out of the oven I seized the object using pliers and I quickly locks it in a bowl of metal with wood chips
(or straw paper) that ignite: is smoking.
During the smoking unglazed black.
8 object came out shortly after and is cleaned: black cracks called "lézardes" through the glaze.
