Make this charming McCall 1014 Upside-Down doll and her clothes, or just admire the incredible images on this highly collectible pattern! Either way, you win!
1942 Stuffed Doll pattern. Instructions for how to make the Upside Down version (often called Topsy Turvy Doll), or the single doll, and clothing for each.
Pattern also includes the 3 ORIGINAL UNUSED TRANSFERS to make the embroidered facial features. It is hard to find an existing pattern that still has all of it's transfers.
Single Doll is 15". Size not given for Upside Down Doll, but would be similar.
1/4 inch seam allowances.
I carefully open, count, and check all of my patterns before listing. (If a pattern is in Factory Folds, I will not unfold it.)
Condition: This pattern is still in FACTORY FOLDS/UNUSED. It is in Good Vintage Condition, with minimal tears and clear graphics on the envelope.
I may use Archival Document Repair Tape ONLY ON THE INSIDE, to stabilize the envelopes if they have tears. This is NOT "scotch" tape, which I would never use on a pattern or pattern envelope.
That being said, ALL OF MY PATTERNS ARE SOLD AS IS. There are NO RETURNS on vintage sewing patterns. Sewing patterns are "EPHEMERA", which means that they were meant to be used, and then thrown away. EVEN THE BEST PATTERNS CAN HAVE "ISSUES". Tiny tears, big tears, stains, rips, foxing, obscured images.
Please refer to each of the pictures so that you have all of the provided information. I do my best to describe my items, and photos are an additional "Description". I never want my clients to be disappointed in their purchases, and looking at all photos is one way to insure that you'll be pleased.
If you have a question about an item, please let me know and I will do my best to get you the information you need.
My patterns are placed in an Archival Acid Free Polypropylene sleeve before mailing.
To cut down on stress to fragile envelopes, pattern pieces won’t be put back in their envelopes, but WILL be sent in the same archival sleeve.
The price for shipping is for the Continental United States. I ship USPS unless other arrangements are made. If you are outside the US please contact me with your mailing address and I will get back to you with the actual cost to ship to you. Thanks!
