Livingston Merino Yarn is 100% superwash merino, ~216m/100g. This base could be considered a heavy sport yarn, or a light DK. Please review the meterage you require before making your purchase, as customers often underestimate the number of skeins required to complete their project.
This listing is for a skein of Livingston Sport Merino in the 'Icy Pole Tongue' colourway. On this base 'Icy Pole Tongue' has shades which approximate the Pantone colours Jazzy, Very Berry, and Cherries Jubilee. An internet search of these colour names may assist your appraisal of the colour in the images.
Image 3 (L-R): Blakey Blue, Icy Pole Tongue, Shadow Spook. The additional skeins are not part of the listing.
Alternating skeins is recommended, as is buying sufficient yarn for your garment from the one dyeing event.
As this yarn may drop, calculating gauge from a blocked swatch is recommended.
AUSTRALIA $8.50 flat-rate shipping. I combine orders. LEAVE A COMMENT in your order and I will delay shipping until you have completed shopping. I will hold yarn for several weeks if required, and if I have no travel plans.
INTERNATIONAL I do not offer flatrate shipping to international destinations. International customers pay up to the full shipping cost. If Etsy overcharges you I refund the difference. If you are undercharged I subsidise the difference. Generally 3-4 skeins will ship at the same price as 1 skein (500g or less).
International orders ship by Registered Australia Post Economy Air Mail. Tracking is not available with this service. A signature is required on delivery.
An example of international shipping costs: ~5-8 skeins to North America (Canada, United States) costs AUD$38.87 - comprising AUD$33.38 (postage) + AUD$5.49 (registered mail). Shipping to Europe costs more, shipping to Asia and New Zealand costs less.
Convo me for a quote if your country is not listed. I ship worldwide.
EXPRESS POST and/or INSURANCE Convo me PRIOR to purchasing.
COLLECTION I'm sorry, but you cannot come to my home to collect your yarn, nor will I agree to meet you elsewhere to transact. Please don't ask.
RESERVED LISTINGS Reserved Listings are easy. If you would like an item held for you please contact me.
CUSTOMS AND TAXES International customers are responsible for import or other taxes/charges that might apply to purchases. Customs documentation will accurately list parcel contents and value.

Additional return information
NO REFUND IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND
I do not refund if you change your mind. Please examine photographs and descriptions carefully. You can also ask me to put a listing on hold while you consider your needs. I am also happy to photograph combinations of skeins for you to appraise for multi-coloured projects. Don't be shy - I do this often!
If I send you the wrong item I will make reparation at no cost to you.
Please contact me before returning yarn.
PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTION Several images are provided. Please examine the images carefully, and read the description. I do not refund if you change your mind, or if pertinent information about the listing was present in the description and you did not read it. Colours may vary from screen to screen. Check on another screen if unsure.
I often use a Pantone Colour Guide to assist characterisation of the colours. Your own internet search of the Pantone colour name may also assist your appraisal of the colours in the images.
BATCHES I group well-matched skeins from a single dyeing event in the one listing. Alternating skeins isrecommended, as is buying sufficient yarn for your project from the one dyeing event.
CUSTOM DYEING IS CLOSED INDEFINITELY.
RANDOM SPOTS and POOLING Buyers should be aware of the vagaries of hand-dyed yarn - speckles or spots of colour, uneven dye distribution, and a propensity for colours to pool or flash once knitted if colour repeats are long, or non-random in distribution.
KNOTS, SPLICES, SKEINS
KNOTS If I see a knot Imention it in the description. I don't see all knots. Fenwick Street Flashmerino - a soft, extrafine merino blend - is my most knot-prone base. I tolerate two knots per skein.
SPLICES I don't always detect splices. Your skein may have splices.
SKEIN SIZE I weigh all skeins, and the weight of each skein varies. Please ensure that you choose a skein of sufficient meterage to suit your needs. When a batch of skeins is listed the weight of the lightest skein goes into the description. You may receive a skein heavier than that described :)
RE-SKEINING I do not re-skein. This allows you to appraise a skein for its propensity to flash/pool. Should a skein be re-skeined it will be noted in the description.
CARE OF YOUR GARMENT
My dyes may not perform to 'superwash' conditions. Garments made from Miss Click Clack hand-dyed yarn should be hand-washed separately in cold water using a gentle wash agent. Some water tinting may occur.
I have a smoke-free, pet-friendly home.
WHOLESALE ENQUIRES I do not have wholesale pricing. The prices listed here are the prices for all purchases irrespective of quantity.
COLLABORATIONS I rarely enter into collaborations with designers. Designers are, however, welcome to purchase from the shop.
PRIZES FOR YOUR COMPETITION I offer generous prizes to participants in Miss Click Clack KALs, so am disinclined generally to donate yarn to the prize pool of an external KAL.
