William Joseph "Dard" Hunter created this art glass design for the Roycrofters Inn, an art colony in East Aurora, New York that championed the Arts & Crafts Movement in the United States. Hunter went on to become a noted type designer, papermaker, printer and publisher. The Dard Hunter Studios at his Mountain House home in Chillicothe, Ohio maintains his legacy.
