this old man vintage presents ...
super old tool belt holder from the 1890-1920s. old and worn leather "holster" with loops for the belt to go through and a large steel ring to keep your hammer or whathaveyou at your side. at some point, a repair was done to the top corner, with a leather patch and black stitching ... because back then, when things broke, you fixed them and kept on going.

measurements ...
7 1/2 inches long x 4 1/4 inches wide. the belt loops are 2 1/2 inches long, spaced 1 3/4 inches apart. the steel ring has a radius of about 2 1/4 inches.

condition ...
old and authentic. the leather is ruggedly broken in, worn in all the spots it should be from scores of everyday use. the steel is a little rusty and scratched up. there is an old, old repair to the top corner.

US SHIPPING ...
We ship all items PRIORITY MAIL, with delivery confirmation + insurance (up to $50). Packages are mailed out within 3 business days of receiving payment ... and it usually takes the post office 2 to 3 days for delivery. Once we mail out your package we will send you a code so you can track your package right to your doorstep.
SHIPPING OVERAGES ...
We try to be accurate with the shipping fees, though sometimes there might be a cheaper way to send your package. Depending on where you live, we might be able to use a different service, or perhaps it would be more feasible to send it in a flat rate box ... these conditions will vary from item to item and from town to town. If we find a cheaper method, we will let you know and refund you the overage.
... EVEN MORE OPTIONS:
Extra Insurance ... if your item is worth more than $50, you may want to add more to the insurance. Let us know so we can adjust the listing + fill out the proper forms.
Heavier items may fit into "FLAT RATE" packages, which may (or may not) lower the cost of shipping. Some items may also be eligible for STANDARD POST. The shipping time is longer, but the price may be more affordable. Convo me for options.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ...
We will generally ship 1ST CLASS INTERNATIONAL, which is the most affordable option, though not always the fastest. If you would like the package faster, we have added some PRIORITY MAIL upgrades. These options include insurance + tracking, so you will most likely receive your item in a more timely manner .. and safe and secure. And in some cases, FLATE RATE options may be cheaper. If the item can fit + if it is economically feasible, I gladly try to save you money.
If the actually shipping cost is less than the price we quote, we will refund you the difference.
*** Also, please beware that your country may charge a CUSTOMS or DUTY TAX. These fees vary from country to country, so it is always wise to check with your local post office for more information. You, the buyer, are responsible for these fees.
And NO, I cannot mark your package as a gift or lie in any way on the customs forms ... so please do not ask.

LOST and DAMAGED ...
oh dear! we hate, hate, hate when things get lost! Please make sure the address on your etsy account is the same as the address on your credit card/paypal account ... and that is the same address as where you live! please! If they are different, it will delay the shipping, as we will need to verify which address you need it sent to.
If something arrives broken from the shipping (or does not arrive at all), CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY! ... within 3 days. We will have to start the postal process asap ... and believe me, the postal process is slow, so patience will be needed if you want a refund. We will assist you in the process, but you will have to deal with your post office as well.

If you have any questions about our policies ... convo us and we will try my best to answer all your concerns.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

After your package has arrived and you have had the chance to admire your new purchase, please leave positive feedback!

Remember to read the description and measurements very carefully as no refund will be given for colour discrepancies, items that do not fit, or items with flaws noted in description and/or in the pictures. If there are any problems or concerns with your item(s), you must notify us immediately (within 3 days of receiving the item!!!) and we will do our best to resolve the situation.

If you are unhappy with your purchase, you can use our pictures and descriptions to resell the item yourself. OR you can return the item for in-store credit ... you MUST contact us within 3 days of receiving package. You are responsible for postage and delivery confirmation both ways. The package must be mailed back in a timely manner (let's say within 3 days of contacting us with your concerns) ... and you must email me the delivery confirmation code so I can keep an eye out for the package. It is a lot of musts ... but please remember that we are a small shop, selling vintage stuff. If you keep your item longer than that we will assume that it has been used by you and we will not accept it back.

Additional policies

Sizing! When shopping online for vintage clothes, reading and understanding the sizing is so important. Never rely exclusively on the designer's #ed size! Sizes vary from designer to designer and from decade to decade. Always be sure to check the actual measurements against a similar item of clothing that you already have in your closet. Because we painstakingly give the measurements for each item, no refunds will be given for an item that does not fit. If you have any questions, please email us and we will do our best to help you find that perfect vintage piece!

how we measure:

The garment is laid on a flat surface. multiply by 2 for chest, waist, hip. The chest is the measurement from armpit seam to armpit seam (if an item measures 18", the chest will be 36"); waist measurement is taken the same way at the narrowest point of waist; hips are also done the same at the widest point of hips; shoulders are measured from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back of the item; sleeve is from the the armpit to the inside sleeve cuff ... and the shoulder seam down the arm to the cuff. If you have questions about sizing or anything else please ask before buying.
