Look what the waves washed up. I wonder if one of the Knights of the Round Table is missing his battle hammer. If so, I found it after it floated an awful long way from medieval England to the 21st century western shore of North American. This is one of the raw driftwood pieces I found on the beach near my home in the Pacific Northwest. It has been sitting on a shelf with other pieces of driftwood carved into art by the surf and sand.
This sturdy piece of raw driftwood is 13 by 6 by 2 inches and weighs 8.7 ounces. My only alteration was to brush off the sand. The color you see on the screen may not be the exact color of the driftwood.
Whenever possible the driftwood pieces are shipped in recycled packing materials. This helps keep the costs down and our environment healthy.
