This resin pendant focal bead is handmade with my own brass bezel and one of my favorite images of St. Michael the Archangel. I added a flat back Swarovski crystal sequin that adds a touch of sparkle that really catches the light when the pendant moves. I buffed the resin for a slightly more matte finish to give it a vintage feel.
This measures about 50mm x 26mm and is about 9mm thick. It has a hole at the top for stringing that measures about 1.5mm.
These pendants involve many steps in the creating process but are well worth the time involved for the final lovely and unique piece, perfect for your designing pleasure.
Each bezel is a labor of love, handmade from brass sheet and formed specially for each picture I choose. The bezels are filled with resin - often a series of two pourings so I can add different pieces of ephemera - glass shard glitter, sequins, sprinkles of mica or any number of other treasures. Once cured the resin is buffed to different levels of a matte finish to give them an aged appearance. The backs and sides are given a patina as well to add to that overall feeling of vintage or antique.

All of my glass beads, resin creations, enameled copper and bronze clay pieces are handmade by me in my home studio in Tucson, Arizona. I work in both borosilicate (hard glass) and soda lime glass (soft glass). All of my beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln and the bead holes cleaned.
I ship in a nice sturdy 2"x3"x6" cardboard box so you can be sure your goodies will arrive safe and sound and in one piece!
