Created in Milwaukee exclusively for us, the SmoothSet mini bezel pusher and burnisher is made from long-lasting acrylic with a smooth, polished end that won't mar your metal. We gave each end its own shape so you can choose which works best for the task at hand.
It's easy to use, and you'll quickly figure out your own favorite way of working with the tool. We use it in the same way you'd use a traditional bezel rocker and burnisher, and for us it takes the place of both tools for pushing bezels in lighter weights (up to about 24-gauge fine silver).
Our new mini version works great for smaller cabs and tight spots. It measures 4" long, 1/2" wide, and 1/8" thick. It was designed to complement our standard-size bezel pusher, which is 6"x1"x1/4" thick.
To set a stone, hold the rounded end next to the bezel wall and use a rocking motion against the metal, pushing opposing points toward the stone as you work your way around the bezel. For final burnishing, use a gliding pressure to firmly burnish the bezel against the stone. Because it's made of durable acrylic, the SmoothSet tool won't mar your stone or the metal!
Your bezel pusher will have a colorful SmoothSet label on it (either blue, citron, or ruby). The bright colors can help you find your tool on the bench top! Send us a note when you order if you have a color preference.

I've always had a love-hate relationship with my standard bezel roller (I recently started covering it with duck tape to help protect my settings) - and a feeling of absolute dread whenever I used the burnisher that came with it. So when a smith I follow on IG mentioned trying and loving this product, I bought it immediately. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this simple little tool. It works so so well. Thank you for making and selling it - it's perfect and I love it!

I love everything about this tool! Fits in my hand comfortably, gets into those tiny places...even works great on those larger stones too. Thank you so much!
