Item details

Knife recurve clip point Bowie Knife. 13&1/2 inches long overall. Double edged the bottom portion containing the recurve is 7&1/2 long with the upper portion being 4&3/4 inches long. The rest of the top portion was allowed to keep its rough edges to better aid in striking flint or ferro rods for sparks without using blade surface. The blade is made from a ferriers rasp. With a solid full tang. The handle is 5 inches of lace wood with 2 stainless steel pins. 3 ginger grooves on the bottom and 1 finger groove on top were designed in to allow for maxim blade control.

Metal with a high carbon content need periodic maintenance. The easiest way to maintain a carbon blade, is to wipe it down if it gets wet during use & oil the blade every 4 months.

Yes they are all heat treated and tempered

The wood I use is robust and of furniture quality. (Real wood not pressed board) just use a wood oil treatment every 4 months
