You are looking at a full intact set of antique doorknobs from the late 1920s. These doorknobs came from a 1920s era house that was being renovated with new doors.
Imprinted on one side of the lock mechanism is a small logo that appears to say "EARLE" I presume that is the name of the lock company, but I have not done research to see as of yet.
I love the backplate on these doorknobs - very simple, yet elegant. There is some paint around the edges of the backplates that could easily come off with paint remover if desired. Included is TWO (2) Brass Doorknobs, ONE (1) ornate brass backplate, ONE (1) chrome plated brass backplate, and ONE (1) lock mechanism.
The measurements of the lock mechanism are based from the black painted part to the brass edge.
The lock mechanism measures approximately 3 1/4" by 3 3/4". The actual doorknobs are 2" in diameter, and stick out from the backplate approximately 1 3/4".
