This is a roll for storing and organising your knitting needles when not in use.
I have made it from Liberty of London tana lawn in the classic William Morris 'Strawberry thief' design. It has been interfaced to give the delicate lawn fabric more substance and I have added some wadding to give further structure and to protect the knitting needles. The roll is also lined with a coordinating purple polka dot cotton fabric and I have top stitched all around the holder for a neat finish.
There are 11 slots for storing needles which range in width from 1/2" to 1 1/4". These will comfortably accommodate a range of needle sizes, with the larger slots able to accommodate 2 pairs of needles if required.
There is a fold down flap that will stop your needles from falling out and the holder fastens with a piece of elastic cord around a wooden heart shaped button. The case can be rolled or folded before securing with the elastic.
It measures approximately 11"W x 14.5"H with the flap closed and will hold needles up to 14" long.
NB Pattern placement may differ from that shown and the knitting needles shown are for illustration purposes only and not included in the listing.
