These are vintage octagonal intaglio cut sunray design Camphor glass cabs that were produced in the 50s and into the 60's. They measure 20mm x15mm. If you search here on Etsy, you can find some settings to fit these with prongs to make earrings and rings. Other searches may provide a wider option of setting material such as plated settings. What I have seen available here on Etsy is sterling 925 and also gold for the setting choices. You can also attach a very small glue-on-bale to use them for earrings or a pendants or a tiny filigree that can be folded in half and glued to the front and the back that will have a hole or loop to attach an ear wire or a jump ring. There is small recessed octagonal in the center of the front that has a tiny hole in the center for gluing a tiny rhinestone of no more than 2mm in diameter or even a bit less would be better if you can find some or have some that are a smidgen smaller in diameter than 2mm. The backs have an intaglio cut or incised sunray design that ends at the tiny hole in the center. There is no recessed octagonal in the center of the back of the cabs. The last photo shows the backs. These look luxurious set in good quality earring blank settings or one in a good quality ring setting, and when you add the tiny rhinestone,it makes the finished piece look all the more elegant!
