Item details

What a beast! This sheep is a Shetland/ Karakul X raised by Wendy Sanders. The locks are earthy, rustic and beasty.

Locks are 4-5 inches in staple length with a wavy and somewhat loose lock structure (some locks have the typical karakul lamb curly tips). This means care must be taken when separating the locks so as not to destroy the wave or the curl. Always pull apart from tip to base supporting the lock as you go.
Locks are clean and free of most vm. There are some larger pieces of hay here and there and some fine sand will fall out when you separate the locks.
This is a coarse fiber with gray fibers throughout which add to it’s beastiness.

Make woodsy gnomes, warthogs or a Bigfoot! I saved the not so great parts to spin and crochet a basket with.

These unique locks don’t come around often!

Enjoy!

This batch is totally different then the other types I purchased in my order. Perfect for the more mature doll hair... lovely indeed!
