Add an amazing looking spacer bead to your next project. We sell primarily for knife makers, these beads can of course be used in all kinds of projects.
Made of acrylic and resin, these beads imitate copal, which is young fossilized amber. (Young means several hundred to thousands of years, not hundreds of thousands of years or longer.) The outside of the bead is coated in a dull reddish wax that protects it, and easily buffs off in a few minutes to reveal the orange/yellow hues with its feathery layers that imitate stress fractures in true copal, and the clear acrylic that gives depth to the bead.
See the knife handle image for an idea of what this looks like in a finished project.
Both are shaped like cylinders with rounded edges.
Available in two sizes. The large is 1.4" (1-31/64" or 37.80mm) in diameter on the round, and 1.2" (1-13/64" or 30.55mm) thick on the hole sides. The small is 1.2" (1-13/64" or 30.65mm) in the diameter on the round, and 1.2" (1-13/64" or 30.55mm) thick on the hole sides.
