Salmon 607 Jacquard Acid Dye for Wool, Silk, Feathers, Nylon, any protein (animal) fiber. Add vinegar, heat to powder for bright colors.

This listing is for a one half (1/2) ounce jar of Jacquard Acid Dye. The only acid involved is the white vinegar or citric acid that you add to the dye bath.

A one half (1/2) ounce jar will color up to two pounds of fiber or fabric. I have used only these dyes for my yarns and roving. You can mix colors to make your own. Each order will include a copy of the manufacturer's directions and color chart as shown in photos.

Shipping is by First Class Mail and I will combine shipping for multiple jars. The first item shipping cost is $3.70, an additional 50 cents will be added for each added item. So 2 jars would ship for $4.20, 3 jars would be $4.70 etc. up to 6 items in one package.

Jacquard Acid Dyes are used to color silk and wool and other protein fibers: cashmere, alpaca, feathers, etc. and some nylons. Extremely brilliant and colorfast, they are highly concentrated, powdered hot water dyes that produce level, uniform color. They exhaust extremely well and won’t bleed or fade with washing. In addition to yarn, fiber and fabric dyeing, Jacquard Acid Dyes may also be used for direct painting or printing applications, using steam setting.
