Item details

Here is a stunning 100% silk dupioni in a lovely shade of bronze, tinged with mustard! This is a shot silk shantung or dupioni, with weft threads of black and warp threads of coppered mustard. This fabric would be splendid for historical garments (historically accurate for garments post 1950, and great for fringe prior to 1950), trimmings, accessories, light jackets, petticoats or gowns by themselves. Sold by the yard.

Please note: Dupioni silk intentionally has irregularities and slubs in it (as shown in the photos), and may not be period appropriate for certain time areas.

55” wide, 100% SILK!!
Lightweight; Soft hand. Drapes well.

*Please note that my Etsy shop closes every Friday evening till Saturday evening for Sabbath. Thank you for your understanding!

FAQs

All sales are final on fabrics. I will accept exchanges on fabric if the buyer is unhappy with their purchase due to the product or service. In such cases, the buyer is responsible for paying for all shipping expenses. Due to color temperatures on individual computer monitors, I do not guarantee colors on fabrics, nor do I guarantee shipping times after the item has been shipped.

Usually, the answer to this question is "no." Shipping prices are based off of 1-4 yard fabric cuts. If you purchase more yardage than that, you may pay more for shipping, but if so, I will send a shipping overage refund to you once I package. That's my promise to you! If you need to know the exact shipping cost before you purchase, message me first with the EP number and yardage amount you want, as well as the destination or shipping address. I'll be happy to estimate the exact amount on shipping, as well as make you a separate listing for the amount of yardage you need. If you purchase 6-8 yards of cotton or silk fabric, I generally can ship it domestically in the USA for under $15.00. All USPS Priority Mail packages will be insured.
