For good luck, make one thousand cranes! Though this pattern doesn't have 1000, you can certainly enjoy your time paper piecing these beautiful cranes in one color or in a color gradient. Great stash buster, each crane uses a small square of fabric, or 2 charm squares if precuts are your preference.
This pattern assumes basic paper piecing techniques, perfect for a confident beginner or anyone wanting to increase their quilting skills.
From the author: In Japanese tradition, folding 1000 paper cranes brings good luck, and strings of the paper birds are often giving as a wedding gift or to welcome a new baby. Wish a lucky recipient all the best with this foundation paper pieced quilt in three different sizes (baby, lap, and queen). Knowledge of basic paper piecing techniques is assumed. Full color pattern booklet, foundation templates for left- and right-facing cranes, and instructions on how to apply a two-color binding are included.

I ship everything in 100% recycled plastic envelopes (that can be reused) simply because I don't want anything to get wet. I can substitute a flat rate envelope in some cases should you prefer paper.
International buyers - you can choose USPS First Class post, as the costs for Priority Mail are unbelievably high. There is no published delivery timespan on First Class but it has been my experience it's not that much slower than Priority. No published shipping time includes time for products lounging about in Customs, over which no one, it seems, has much control.
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred for shipments outside the US.
Full payment, including shipping, before I can ship. Special orders or consignment, payment will be decided on an individual basis.
