Item details

This paper is composed of equal parts of premium abaca pulp and kozo tree bark, which produces a soft, yet strong paper. For these sheets I dyed the pulp a sea foam.

10 sheets, each made by hand here in Maine. Each sheet measures 3x 5 inches.

Abaca is a very strong verstile pulp from the banana leaf. It's commonly known in the international trade as Manila Hemp and is considered the strongest of natural fibers. It is 3 times stronger than Sisal fiber, and is far more resistant to salt water decomposition than most of the vegetable fibers
