Anyone who has done any work with needles, whether it's cross stitch or any number of crafts involving needles, has had that OH NO! moment when they realize their needle has gone missing! I personally can't count how many needles I have lost in the carpet, couch and even my bed :/ Sometimes, after what seems like hours of looking for said needle, I gave up on finding it and grabbed a new one. This was almost always a bad idea, as I'd somehow manage to sit, or even worse STEP on said needle!! After joining several groups for stitchers and making some stitchy friends, I was chatting with one of them and, of course, managed to lose my needle then sit on it a few minutes later! After she was done laughing, she offered to send me a gift. So a few days later I got a super cute little picture of an owl with a magnet attached and an extra magnet. The pretty side goes on the front of the fabric and the extra magnet goes on the back, with the fabric in between. This was an awesome introduction to my now favorite stitching accessory!! How did I ever get by without these?! Now, like many of my friends, I regularly have a few on each project I'm working on and can proudly say I haven't lost a needle in a long while!! Once I discovered these nifty little things I couldn't get enough of them. I would search and search online to find ones that suited my tastes. I have a wide variety of interests so I started making my own, then doing special orders for friends, and eventually started selling them on Facebook. Between my needle minders, scissor fobs, froggers, and dyeing fabrics I decided to expand my production and sales to reach other markets, so here I am! I, along with my daughter (who has her own line of creations in this store) are here to please! I am here to answer any questions you have and will soon have listings for personalized items as well, so keep checking back!
These needle minders are made several ways... *Images with high quality glass and high powered magnets. *Resin or clay flat backs/cabochons and high powered magnets. *Shaped stone flat backs/cabochons and high powered magnets. *Flattened bottle caps with images, high quality glass and high powered magnets. *Bezels with images, high quality glass and high powered magnets.
One thing remains the same, regardless of which method I use... No matter where you lay your needle on the needle minder, the needle will stay magnetically attached until you are ready to pick it up again!! I also use them while sewing to hold my pins and needles, sometimes my embroidery scissors, and even have a few on my fridge holding up pictures my daughter has colored :) I can customize them, from the image to the size and even embellishments (like bezels and bottle caps) and will have a listing added soon to order them customized. Until then, feel free to message me and I'll see what I can do to help get the perfect needle minder for YOU!
