I have this policy in place because the product I am offering is custom created for you and is not something that can be returned.This is not the same as other transactions on etsy where you are talking about a tangible object, that can be returned and resold. We are talking about a transaction correlated to my time and creative conceptualisation specifically for you, time and creativity that once spent I cannot get back if I provide a refund.
I expect you to fully understand what it is you are purchasing from me. It is your responsibility to understand what is included in your package. The project must strictly adhere to what is included in the package purchased in terms of labour. I have not been hired indefinitely for unlimited work.
If you are asking for a new design concept, items or rounds of revisions outside the bounds of your package allocation additional charges apply.
I will ask you upfront to understand the time and effort I put into every job I take on . I hand draw most of my logos, this is very detailed and time consuming work, and I don't work for free, so anything above and beyond what has been stipulated in the package purchased will incur additional charges. I value my time and effort and I would hope you do as well.
After a purchase, you, the client has 30 days to initiate contact. If no contact is made after 30 days, the client is not eligible for a refund. If at any point, the client discontinues communication, fails to submit necessary content, or corrections for 30 days or more, the project will be null and void and will not be eligible for a refund and will be subject to my current schedule as to when work can be commenced or continued. There will be a $50 fee to reopen the project.
If I am unable to complete the design (due to an emergency situation) your payment will be refunded in full.
