** PLEASE READ. AN EDUCATED BUYER IS A HAPPY BUYER **
I am a discriminate seller. My items come from estate sales, resale shops and through private collections. I am quite persnickety and will not sell an item I don't just adore myself. In most cases I cannot tell you the history or provenance of an item or how it was cared for. I can only list and describe what I see. You must keep in mind as a buyer that these are used items. There is expected wear and tear and I do my best to mention what I see or what stands out.

There are no returns on any item that does not fit (see how to measure below) or is the wrong color (monitors vary) or you've changed your mind. I measure these carefully (laid flat and doubled) and list all imperfections that take away from the original quality of the piece. It is up to you, as the buyer to make sure you are educated on the purchase before making it. So, ask questions if you are not sure. Need more pics, please let me know. JUST REMEMBER: Vintage items have had a previous life. Rarely, will you get a MINT piece so expect a few blemishes, signs of wear and see it as a loved piece that has traveled far to be loved by you.

As for item history, I mentioned earlier, in most cases I cannot tell you the history of an items previous home. I am unable to tell you if it comes from a smoke free, pet free home. I mention this for those with these types of sensitivities.

** Please read the condition/sizing info below to help you gauge wear & fit **

CONDITION CHART:
MINT - Flawless; like new or new condition
EXCELLENT - No flaws or has a minor flaw and/or repair or two that is not obvious and does not compromise wearability
GOOD - Minor flaws that need a repair/cleaning and are slightly obvious but can still be worn and does not compromise wearability
FAIR - Several flaws that need some attention/repair before being worn
STUDY - Multiple flaws and would need to be reconstructed, salvaged for material or used for study

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS:
How do I measure? I measure all things across from left seam to right seam on the outside and double for bust, waist, hips. From shoulder to hem for length and from shoulder to waist for bodice length. The best way to gauge fit is to take something you love, that fits well and compare by measuring the same way. Though an item may me marked a certain size, always go by the measurements since vintage sizing is different than sizing today.
A good reference for modern sizing is to visit: www.womenssizechart.com or www.menssizechart.com

SHIPPING/INSURANCE/CUSTOMS INFO:
Domestic Shipping: I choose what method is the most economical for the size of the item. I mostly use Priority or First Class and for large lots or coats, UPS Ground. If you need something expedited then let me know and we can calculate additional shipping costs. Otherwise, I ship in 4-5 BUSINESS DAYS after payment is cleared due to my scheduling as a busy Mom.
Insurance: This is provided at my discretion for items of rarity, high value or of fragile materials. You will not be required to purchase it. To insure you get your package, all items shipped out will have tracking provided so that you can follow your package from door to door. Both UPS and USPS are covered up to certain amounts.
International Shipping: All Int'l shipping to other countries will go 1st Class mail, unless over 4lbs, which Priority Mail is required. I am in no way responsible for customs delays or fees. These are governed by each countries Int'l policies. As for shipping times, again that is out of my control. Some packages can take a week and some can take several weeks. It all depends on the country and how backed up customs is. I ask that you be patient and if necessary, I can place a tracer on a package after 4 weeks. Expedited shipping is available at your request and the fees associated with the upgrade are the responsibility of the buyer.

INT'L CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: Customs fees and delays are out of my control. You are responsible for paying the required customs fees and they are not included in the shipping costs. Delays in shipping are also expected at times and again are not something in my control. DO NOT ASK ME TO MARK A LOWER VALUE ON THE CUSTOMS FORM – this is illegal. I insure my packages and I have to insure it for the actual amount paid. NOTE: UK is notorious for charging Royal duty tax and custom fees. This may be random and they charge for inspection. These are not something I have any control over and the expense is the responsibility of the customer who should be educated on these charges.
To get an idea of what your customs fees might be, visit: www.dutycalculator.com
NOTE: if you refuse to pay the custom fees upon receipt of your order and package is returned to me, you will not be refunded. Each sale is a contractual agreement and you agree to pay any and all customs fees/VAT/duty/taxes that your country charges for international shipments.

Overage Paid on Shipping: It may appear you have overpaid for shipping but keep in mind I insure items through a 3rd party vendor which you will not see. Also, I cover the use of my materials for packing: tape, paper, envelopes, etc…

AFTER THE SALE:
Purchase Communications: Please do NOT communicate with me through messages on your PayPal payment screen. ALL COMMUNICATION must be through etsy's convo email system so that I have a record and will receive an alert of awaiting mail. PAYPAL does not alert me if a buyer sends me a message on their payment screen, therefore I have no idea if you are trying to reach me.
One last thing...feedback. I love to receive good reviews. Please take a moment after receiving your purchase to let others know how much you loved your item. If in any way I did not merit stellar feedback, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION so I can work with you. I want you happy as the new owner of your purchase as I want to be happy offering it to you.

Therefore, in very RARE cases will I accept a return if grossly misrepresented. But, normal wear can be loose seams, slight discoloration under the arms, small pale spots, a stubborn metal zipper, seam stress, all over fade from washing, just to name a few. In those instances, I do mention them in the description so you can make an informed purchase.
