14.1m length: Knitted wire tubing with silver coloured balls available in various lengths (see other listings). These lengths were hand threaded with balls (a labour of love!) the wire being stretched to fix the position of the balls at approximately 10cm apart. These distances do vary a bit as done by hand not a machine. The balls are 30mm diameter. These lengths were then used for a millennium store display for Peter Jones (see image) and similar ones used for a hanging arch that was exhibited at the Dutch Museum of Textiles in Tilberg Holland (shown in the pink photo). The lengths can be cut to suit your design and can be joined if needed by stitching together using some of the unravelled wire. The balls can be moved slightly up or down the tubes if required by manipulating the wire. The balls look as if they are solid and so appear to be made of metal giving a very elegant effect but they are in fact made of plastic. People are always surprised at how light they are which makes them perfect for display installations. The lengths can be used to make a room divider or an elegant alternative to a "bead curtain". They can also be used for millinery, wreaths, table adornment or any other decorative creation - wherever your imagination takes you! Prices are based on £3.95/metre, discounted by 5% over 10 metres and 10% over 20 metres. Delivery within the UK is via 1st class signed for.
