Item details

My grandmother loved her shiny bakelite bracelets--and I loved the sound of them clicking on her wrists as we played cards together.

Genuine Bakelite is beyond expensive--To possess these wonderful antiques today, you'll pay a pretty penny---but with this tutorial, you can make your own, so realistically that only you will know! Even better, you can customize your creations to exactly the colors and motifs you want.

This 30 page tutorial will walk you start to finish through two complete projects--tile bracelets with custom fit and fiddle-free wear--no fumbly clasps are necessary. Complete instructions are provided to create the lovely Asian motifs, but they are just the starting point for your own creative designs.

In this tutorials you will learn:

How to create perfect channels in a tile bracelet
How to create surface patterns with common hardware tools
How to sculpt intricate-looking Asian motifs
How to antique and highlight your creations for the look of authentic age
How to color polymer clay with inks
How to properly tie off a bracelet for a seamless fit

This file will be shipped to your Etsy email within 24 hours of purchase; once only available from CraftArtEdu, it is now sold exclusively here for considerably less.

While this tutorial is suitable for people who have had some experience with polymer clay, such as basic conditioning and sheeting, even a beginner can follow the step by step instructions, and help is as close as your email; I offer full unlimited support for all of my tutorials.

As with any digital media, tutorials are not refundable once shipped, and may not be shared--thank you in advance for respecting the artist's copyright.

So let's get retro! This blast from the past is sure to get you years of compliments.
