Originally, I created this pattern with the chain stitch in mind. I guess I took that literally and used the chain stitch to make a actual necklace chain. What evolved was this Goddess creature. I've always admired ginger colored hair, especially with curls. Create your own unique inner Goddess and hang her somewhere where she can watch over you and give you strength! Maybe yours is a brunette on a hot pink fabric. Go with your gut and watch her reveal herself to you! Hand sewing is a relaxing form of therapy, great to indulge in when the rest of the world around you is going crazy. When you are finished with this project you will have a lovely keepsake great for hanging on the wall. The hoop makes a perfect frame! Slide some ribbon through the hardware at the top or just hang it on a nail. Prop it in a tiny easel to display your hard earned masterpiece! This is a fantastic project for people who have some beginner knowledge of embroidery but can be enjoyed by anyone. This project has been completed in backstitch, satin stitch, straight stitch, chain stitch, and french knots but feel free to add your own twists to it by picking your own color palette and adding different stitches. Go crazy and add some beads on the necklace! Let your inner Goddess take over.
