Extra-thick circular spacers made from white bone, dimensions approx 4,5-6,0 mm x 29-31 mm.
Popular with stick-makers, to assist in getting a neat join between shank and top - particularly where there's a size discrepancy between the antler or other head, and the diameter of the chosen shank. The thick spacer allows you to taper the size difference down gently from one to the other, making it a nice smooth transition.
Also useful in many crafts such as jewellery and button making, white bone takes a super polish - you need to really work at it, using ever-finer grades of sandpaper, then wet-or-dry paper - I usually go right down to 800 grit for final sanding. Then finish with a slightly abrasive metal polish like Peek.
Sold in packs of 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 - Make your selection from the dropdown above.
White bone is a natural material, and variations in colour and markings are part of their natural character.
