There is nothing like the look of natural bone jewelry--but animals need not die to provide them! Thanks to the the magic of polymer clay, beautiful bone can be reproduced at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.

My faux bone cuff bracelet tutorial is now available, and at a lower price than its former incarnation. In this 30 page pdf. tutorial, you will learn:

Mixing colors for authentic faux bone
Creating and reducing the basic cane which may be used for this and many other projects, such as earrings, pendants, hairpins, etc.
Proper molding techniques for minimal distortion
Step by step sculpting of unique motifs
Shaping and covering metal blanks for a perfect fit
Antiquing and finishing for a look of old age
Sources for materials are listed, and advice given on best selection

This exhaustive tutorial is lavishly illustrated with clear, step-by-step photographs, and comes with my full online support; Help is never more than an email away.

Though this tutorial is aimed at the artist with a working knowledge of polymer clay basics, even a novice can create these projects; everything is clearly explained.

This tutorial is in Pdf. form, and ships to your email of record within 24 hours of purchase. Like all my tutorials it comes with full online support. Tutorials are not refundable once shipped, and may not be shared without the express written consent of the author.
