This offering is for a pair of Wiss Model C (CB7) Pinking Shears made sometime in the 1950s out of stainless steel. I believe this to be "new old stock" as there is no indication the scissors have ever been used. The black paint on the handle of the scissors is like new and the stainless steel is shiny, the blades nice and sharp. Measuring 7 1/2" in length they are a seamstresses' dream when it comes to cutting a precise clean cut. In its original pink box (as pictured) and comes with the original booklet. According to the booklet, these scissors were "designed to give fabrics a professional-looking ravel-resistant finish with the greatest saving of time and effort". Top quality all the way for the beginner or the more experienced seamstress; this is the way to go! Made in Newark NJ (pre-zipcode) by one of the premier scissor manufacturers. The box shows signs of wear but overall good condition considering the age and there is a small piece of masking tape on the front (see photo) which I am reluctant to remove for fear of ripping the box so I just left it. Always packed and shipped with care. I ship via UPSP Priority Insured so you'll get it quickly once an order has been placed. Thank you for looking.
