This is a “Beginners Level” punch needle project that will fit nicely on most any recipe box that holds 3” X 5” index cards. My inspiration for this came out of shear laziness. I have a ton of 3” X 5” recipe cards that have not made their way into my new recipe folder. We old folks have trouble with change. So because this card file was pretty scratched up, I simply made this punched patch, and glued it on for a “new” look.
The pattern is on weavers cloth, as well as on a paper guide showing color suggestions, instructions, and a page of useful information and tips. The pattern image is 3.5” x 5.5”, and the weavers cloth is 8” x 8”.
You’ll need a recipe box, punch needle tool, threads, a punch needle frame, scissors, embroidery needle, small crochet hook, beeswax, and a cup of tea.
Please contact me with any questions about this pattern, or if you are interested in having this design transferred by hand to a 2.5’ x 3.5’ piece of monk’s cloth for a rug hooking project. Also, if you have a great recipe you would like to share, by all means, write to me.
Shipping within the continental U.S. is FREE for this pattern until May 1, 2018. Outside the U.S., shipping costs will be calculated.
