This is an easy punch needle pattern that, when finished, can be applied to just about anything. Here it is as a patch on the front of a black crossbody quilted bag that can be purchased from Hobby Lobby. The quilted bag is NOT INCLUDED in this pattern. What makes this particularly special is that it is three dimensional, utilizing various levels on the punch needle tool. This makes the sheep look fluffy and the flowers/grass stand out as well.
The pattern is 5” x 6” and the weavers cloth is 12” x 12”. Tools needed are a punch needle tool, DMC perle cotton threads #5, a punch needle frame, scissors, small crochet hook, embroidery needle, fusible fabric, fabric glue, beeswax, and maybe some “Scotchguard” to protect your hard work from dust and spills. This project is a “quicky” and if you personalized this with someone’s initials, it would make a great gift. The bag can be a regular purse, a cosmetic bag, or a sweet knitting bag. Anyway you wish to use it, it is a very cute design.
Please contact me with any questions about this pattern, or if you are interested in having this design transferred by hand to a 2.5’ x 3.5’ piece of monk’s cloth for a rug hooking project.
Shipping within the continental U.S. is FREE for this pattern until May 1, 2018. Outside the U.S., shipping costs will be calculated.
Thanks for looking, and have a wonderful day. Patsye
