Memory beads are now available for you to create your own custom jewelry! 8mm beads will be the default size. This is approximately 5/16". If you would like a different size please contact me with your request. The center hole is big enough for a standard size head pin or eye pin.
Each bead is hand rolled and baked. They are made with your dried memory flowers and polymer clay. The flowers should be completely dried. They should be dried for at least 1 month or may be something you’ve been saving for years. For flowers with good, dark color the pearl clay will allow your flowers to stand out the best. For light colored flowers, colored clay may be a better choice. White flowers do not show up well in the pearl clay. Note, red rose petals have a natural "purple pigment" when dried and can change the color of the clay. The amount of flowers needed is less than you may think. If possible I would like the equivalent of one medium size rose or more for other flowers per piece of jewelry. The more contrast in color and flower type the more unique the piece will be. For example, adding Baby's breath, greenery, a filler flower, or a leaf from a flower will add contrast. Any unused flowers will be returned with your finished jewelry.
If your item is a gift for someone, you may be interested in the "Made for You in Honor of..." Card. Please find this listed separately under "Extras".
PLEASE NOTE: This is a custom product and therefore special delivery/handling applies and will be final sale. The 1-2 week processing time begins once I have received your flowers. If you are not happy with your pieces, contact me and I will work to resolve any issue you may have.
Because I don’t want to receive flowers that I don’t have an order for, I will send you a message through Etsy after your purchase is made with a shipping address for your flowers.
I prefer you send flowers that have already been through the drying process. If they are not completely dry, DO NOT USE A PLASTIC BAG OR PADDED MAILER TO SHIP! Simply wrap them in a paper towel and place them in a mailing envelope. Only use a Ziploc bag if the flowers are completely dry. If the flowers are completely dry you can place them in a ziplock bag and use a padded mailer. The petals are crushed in the process of making the beads so there is no need to protect them. If possible, please do NOT send everything you have, as I can not be responsible for lost mail!
