Description

This necklace is constructed with the wired cluster pendant as th focal and then building the necklace by stringing beads onto tiger tail. This tutorial is done in two parts. Part I; Step 1 - 17 focuses on the step by step instruction for the construction of the cluster pendant. Part II; Step 18 to 25 gives a pictorial explanation on the stringing of the necklace onto the tiger tail.

The centrepiece cluster pendant, although appear to be somewhat freeform and even chaotic to certain extent, is actually done very systematically. What actually gave the chaotic and freeform appearance lies in the use of beads the different shapes and sizes of beads in this otherwise systematically constructed cluster centrepiece.

Basically, this tutorial involves 25 steps illustrated over 55 clear pictures, packed with tips as well as suggestion for a remake in your own style. Pictures are zoomed-in and approximaately 280px X 190px in size.

Anyway, this is not a very difficult project. Something around the intermediate level, maybe? Some of the prerequisite that a beginner would need to know before embarking on this project, if you are up for it, is how to make a loop, wrapped loop and also how to crimp a crimper bead on a tiger tail as well as how to finish off with a bead tip/calotte. The last one can be optional; since this tutorial actually gives you complete freedom to create style of your own despite being a step by step tutorial, including your preference in finishing off the necklace.

No two person will be coming up with the exact same piece from this tutorial. In other words, this tutorial guides you step by step to create the same necklace in your own style.

You will primarily learn the simple twisting method in creating the centrepiece wired cluster pendant.
