PLEASE NOTE: All my shipping rates are an estimate. If, after shipping your item, my shipping costs are lower than estimated, I will issue you a refund for the difference between the amount I posted (and you paid) and the actual amount if there is a difference of $3.00 or more. In the past I have found that my rates are actually on the low side and I have just absorbed the extra cost. I appreciate your business and this is my way of thanking you for your purchase.
While I have only listed shipping within Canada and to the US, I am more than happy to ship anywhere in the world. However, shipping costs to other countries vary widely, so contact me BEFORE placing your order. Then I can let you know what shipping to you might cost.
During busy holiday times if you wish to have your item expedited, send me a Conversation BEFORE placing your order so that I can calculate how much the extra postage will be to get the item shipped to you quicker than regular mail.
All items are shipped out of Sutton, QC by Canada Post within 1 to 3 days after the order has been made. Please keep in mind that shipping times vary by destination. Express shipping and tracking numbers are available upon request. If you would like me to rush an item or add tracking number and insurance contact me BEFORE placing your order as extra charges will apply.
NorthernLightsFibers is not responsible for any additional charges such as custom or duty taxes if you live outside of Canada. Each country has different rules and guidelines - it is your responsibility to calculate handling fees, duty and tax before placing your order. I have no control over these charges.
NorthernLightsFibers is not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered packages, customs delays or for packages that are undelivered due to incorrect addresses. I am unable to replace or reship items purchased without insurance. If you would like to purchase insurance please contact me BEFORE placing your order.
Any package returned due to incorrect address will be reshipped at the expense of the purchaser.
Please let me know if you have not received your item 30 days after confirmation that it has been shipped.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Perishable products (like food or flowers)
Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Items on sale

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Additional return information
Returns will be accepted on all regular items and if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase please contact me for refund/replacement options. Returns must be approved first.
PLEASE NOTE that custom orders, hats and headbands are NOT returnable.
Returned items must be mailed back in the original packaging and in brand new condition. I will ask that the item be shipped back within 7 days of receiving it. I do not refund shipping charges for the package sent out to you, or sent back to me. Payment will be refunded once I have received the package back in brand new, unworn/unused condition, minus any shipping charges. I also strongly recommend that you return your item to me by recorded delivery so you can track the package and know that it has been delivered successfully.
All items are hand made by me, so no two pieces will be exactly the same.
I make every effort to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions, and colors are represented as closely as possible. However, different screen resolutions may affect this process.
My shop is a smoke-free environment.
I am happy to discuss custom orders - please contact me with your requests. If you see something you like that has already sold and there isn't another one available please let me know and I'll be happy to make another as a custom order for you.
If you have had your eye on an item in my shop but no longer see it and are interested in it, send me a Convo - the item's listing may have expired and if it's a seasonal item (winter, summer, holidays) I may wait until the season changes to re-list it. I'm not sure how many people are looking for a wool hat, scarf, etc in the middle of July when it's crazy hot out there - or vice versa for more summery items in the middle of January :)
