I try to ship items everyday. M-F. If payment is received before noon, it will usually ship the same day. Most items are shipped Priority which comes w/ insurance. Its faster and safer. Some smaller and less expensive items, I will send 1st Class. Fed-ex is also used for oversized items, heavy or not. International is usually sent 1st Class International. Each item can be different.
*Please keep in mind, shipping includes packaging materials costs.
If you purchase more than one item and our shipping (inc. pkg. materials) is less than what you paid, I do refund the difference. Some items simply cannot be shipped together. The shipping might seem high on our furniture items but there is just no way around that, it's what we have to pay because of the package being over sized and the materials cost. Sometimes we end up taking some of our shipping cost out of the actual item cost. Meaning, we eat it. We do that especially on our furniture items, because of how big the boxes end up being by the time it's all packaged up.
**** "INSURANCE" *** I prefer insurance on all pieces. Being vintage, or custom, its not like you can run over to the store and buy another. You worked hard finding this special piece, maybe the only one left, ever! Keep all wrapping and take pictures of any damage items due to shipping. The P.O. insists on photos for a claim to be filed. I leave this decision up to you. Anything I sell, can have insurance. Just be sure to let me know. I am not responsible for lost items in the mail, or a wrong address.
**** "International Buyers" **** If you do not see your country, just ask. Know your Laws. International Buyers are responsible for their countries customs and Laws. Sending 1st Class is the least expensive, but can not have insurance. I cannot be responsible for lost items once I have mailed. Insurance has to be Express for International.
As for the Combined Shipping, I am very Happy to save you money! I refund shipping overages right away! So don't worry, Usually, anything $2-$5 over actually shipping is refunded!
Again, I will find the most economical and safest way.
I also recycle when possible. All material is clean, and comes from a smoke free home. This saves on costs and the envirorment. I do have cats. Clothing and such, are all kept in a air conditioned room, where the door is always closed.

Layaways are available, terms are simple. I will work with anyone on a item. Everyone has their reasons. Talk to me. I never liked loosing something, because I needed more time! Paid off in 2 or 3 installments, which must be paid monthly. Item or items, must be paid off in 90 days, or the money already paid, Will be forfeited. A Postal Money order is prefered, for the USA, but paypal and cc accepted. No layaway on Sale items. There are no exchanges or refunds on layaway items.

I do my best to describe every thing , the good and the bad. Same as with my pictures. Please read carefully and look at the pictures. Pictures are a big part of the description. I am only human, I might miss something, or have a type-o. I am only a e-mail away to answer any and all questions.
Most things I sell are vintage and pre-owned, items are not expected to look new. This is part of the uniqueness of buying vintage. Somewhere in time, someone else loved them, too. I want every sale to end with a extremely happy customer!
Also, my measurements are not to be ignored. I take excellent measurements for you. Please measure twice! Compare with something similar in your own closet, that you know and like the way it fits. Vintage size labels mean squat today. Refunds are not given because it does not fit.

My feather creations, are ALL one of a kind. Most are done with vintage fabrics and vintage jewerly. I do not accept returns on my creations. I have had some very bad and expensive experiences in the past.
**My feather creations have come to a stop, as I cannot compete with the prices items from China are. Just buying the feathers cost me more then a whole outfit from China. Sad, isn't it!
We have made a major move and working overtime on the fixer upper. More like that movie Money-Pit, Not the house, but problems. At least we are DIY'ers. My creations have slowed down and have taken a different direction. My creations from my new studio(yeah!) will be coming out very soon!! Not feathers ..... And my husbands stuff, well, his job has kept him away from home way too much. Hopefully soon, I can put him to work too. After his "honey do" fix it list. He may never have time to play.... :)
To Ensure a Proper Fit, Arm yourself with Cloth tape measure and follow along with the tips below!
• First things first, know your own measurements! Approximate sizing and actual measurements!
• All measurement are taken with the garment lying flat, meaning the piece is lying on a table and measured straight across. I then double, as you will do when measuring your piece.
• Find a similar well fitting piece of your own, measure it flat and compare the measurements to those listed .
• Always remember the measurements given are not body measurements but garment measurements and should be slightly bigger (1" to 2") than your body measurements. The extra space is important for fit and overall comfort!!
KEEP these measurements handy, one you've done a dress, coat, etc, you won't need to do again, just compare!
