Introducing The Underworld collection. This is Eurydice, daughter of apollo and beloved wife of Orpheus. When she was bitten by a viper and died, Orpheus was distraught, his music softened the hearts of hades and Persephone, and he was allowed to lead her back to the land of the living, the only proviso was that he didn't look behind him until he got to earth. Unfortunately he did this too soon, and she was returned to the Underworld forever.

The Underworld collection is designed to be paired in a number of different ways with the other parts of the collection. The first picture shows you Eurydice following that there is Eurydice paired with Styx and Persephone in that order. The listing is for Eurydice only in 3 ozs increments in either 70/30 polwarth mulberry silk, or merino tussah silk 80/20. Of course Eurydice can be spun by itself, but the collection is designed to give you lots of flexibility of colour.

Hi I ship as soon as I can,as soon as payment has cleared.I have a little boy so it can sometimes take a couple of days. If you want something urgently let me know, otherwise it will take a week to 10 days.i will always notify you if there is a delay , but most of my parcels arrive in about a week to ten days.If you have any concerns about a parcel please let me know.

Please be aware of your own countries import rules as I am not liable for additional customs charges, nor can I understate the value of the parcel for customs purposes.

Shipping is capped at $12nzd , which means that no matter how much you order you will not pay more than $12nzd per order. Due to frequent increases in postal prices I regrettably have had to increase this cost to $12, but it still represents a great saving for multiple orders.

Customer satisfaction is my priority.
All items are made in a smoke free environment.

A note about 'white bits' .
Each roving goes through my hands about 5 times in different parts of the process. I do my utmost to avoid light spots or white bits where they are unintentional, as this is a hand made product however occasionally they do occur. I usually make my rovings a bit overweight so if you desire and you do find a white bit please just pluck it out. You don't have to use it! Sometimes though they are intentionally there to lighten the colour as you spin.

Possum may not be for everyone but is an ecological luxury fiber. I am completely against farming animals for fur and was a vegetarian when I arrived in New Zealand, therefore was initially a bit dubious about possum. However, the possum here was an inroduced species which now numbers about 17 per person.Omnivorous,it crunches through our rainforest and endangers native birds such as the rare kiwi. The fiber is a useful way to utilise rather than just completely waste the by-products of harvesting the possum. The possums are NOT farmed for their fur, they are harvested from the wild.
It is not an endangered or protected species therefore there should be no problem importing it.I have checked with our customs that it is so,but it may be worthwhile checking your countries import restrictions.
