The yarn is about 60% llama 40% wool. The llama fiber was humanely sheered by one of my friends from a llama named Batman. Batman lives on a small farm in upstate New York with about 10 sheep. He has black, grey and white patches with some brown spots on his neck and head. He is loved dearly by my friend and the children who visit and try to get his attention with food and kissing noises. I washed the llama fiber myself with some gentle organic soap and well water from upstate NY. There may be a piece of hay wrapped up in there. The white wool roving I bought from a yarn store in Savannah, Georgia, I carded the two together and spun them on a small spinning wheel. This yarn has not been dyed, this is Batman's natural color. Because he has such large patches of different greys, I was able to do some gradation. There is a total of 97 yards of this yarn, if you would like only a portion, let me know. The remainder will not go to waste.
